IoT use cases:

The importance of R&D in IoT

To be a leader in IoT, it is not enough to develop what the customers ask for today. You must be at the forefront of Research & Development to deliver what they will need when they need it. Thus, R&D projects in IoT become essential for driving the technology forward on a global level.

Our R&D activities

We strongly believe in cooperation and partnerships to drive innovation, working broadly to build a holistic system through high experience levels. R&D activities can revolve around security issues in connectivity, optimizing energy harvesting methods, increasing quality of life for citizens, and more. Below is a list of some interesting publicly funded joint projects that we participate in.

anomaly detection by Sensative Machine Learning
The project will, with the help opf Machine Learning and AI algorithms, identify common sensor problems for the most interesting sensors in agriculture, including sensors for temperature, humidity, precipitation and wind in weather stations, sensors for soil temperature and humidity, etc.

IoT Sensors, interconnected data sources and mobile data form the basis of the real-time smart city. The Smart Public Spaces project is a part of Future by Lund. Here we work with solutions for the future city which are based on real-time information where people, organizations, infrastructure and sensor systems work together to create a sustainable environment with a high quality of life.
