SENSATIVE and CIVITY will provide their Smart City platforms to RISE for the development of a common Smart City standard for all cities and municipalities in Sweden.
RISE has recently completed the project “Survey of urban data platforms” under the strategic innovation program IoT Sweden. A project output is a set of recommendations and guidelines outlining how municipalities and their suppliers could work with a common framework to assure openness and interoperability.
The recommendations as well as the solutions from Sensative and Civity are based upon standardized components from the European FIWARE framework which is gaining traction in cities in several European countries.
The Sensative open IoT platform Yggio is the leading horizontal Smart City platform in Sweden, used in Stockholm, Malmö, Sundbyberg, Lund, and others. Sensative’s platform provides seamless integration of live data streams from many IoT technologies and standards into a common IoT network with a simple interface for common end-user services.
Civity’s City Innovation Platform is the leading horizontal Smart City platform in the Netherlands, used in more than 30 cities e.g. The Hague, Utrecht, Groningen, and more. The platform provides data logistics solutions (collection, storage and provisioning) as well as data science that stimulate Smart City development.
