Lund, Sweden – 15th of May 2023 – Sensative AB, a prominent leader in the Internet of Things (IoT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Johan Frilund as the new CEO to drive the company forward in the next phase, focusing on profitability and scaling. Meanwhile, the co-founder and former CEO, Mats Pettersson, will remain with the company, focusing on product development and the technology vision in the role of CTO/CPO.
Johan Frilund brings a wealth of experience with a solid background in senior executive positions in technology and growth companies. With a proven and successful track record in the industry and the ability to drive change and growth, Johan will play a crucial role in strengthening Sensative’s position in the market and realizing the company’s strategic vision.
Johan Frilund has previously served as the President of AddSecure Smart Transport AB and CEO of the publicly listed Sensys Traffic AB, now known as Sensys Gatso Group AB. With his deep understanding of marketing and sales in technology-intensive industries and his strong ability to build and lead successful teams, Johan will catalyze growth and profitability at Sensative.
Mats Pettersson, who now assumes the role of CTO/CPO, will continue to play a vital role in the company by focusing on technical development, innovation, and product vision. With his expertise and insights, Mats will remain an invaluable asset to Sensative and ensure the company leverages its robust technology for growth and profitability.
