Unlike simplified air quality solutions, it uses dedicated CO2 sensing technology to deliver accurate values required for standards, certifications, and ventilation control. High-quality CO2 sensors are calibrated and engineered to ensure stable, reliable readings over time—critical for building compliance and performance monitoring.

This means you don’t have to choose between “perceived air quality” and “regulatory accuracy.” You get both—enabling smarter ventilation, healthier environments, and full confidence in your data.

Square Air CO2 LoRaWAN

Square Air CO2 is an advanced multi-sensor designed for comprehensive indoor air quality monitoring with real CO2 measurements. It measures air quality index (IAQ), CO2, bVOC, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and ambient light, providing a complete picture of indoor environments.

Powered by the Bosch BME690 AI-enabled gas sensor, Square Air CO2 acts as a digital nose, capable of detecting a wide range of airborne substances and enabling smarter, data-driven ventilation and energy optimization.

In addition, Square Air CO2 integrates the Sensirion STCC4 sensor for direct CO2 measurement, ensuring accurate CO2 readings.

With a compact design (58 × 58 × 15 mm) and a high-capacity battery, it delivers 10+ years of operation making it ideal for long-term, maintenance-free deployments.

Square Air CO2 can be trained to detect specific gases or substances using AI-based configuration of the BME690 sensor, enabling tailored applications for specialized environments.

Installation

Square Air CO2 can be mounted using the integrated adhesive for quick installation, or with the Sensative Square Screw Mounting Kit (optional) for secure and permanent mounting.

Smart geolocation (without GPS)

Square Air CO2 supports cloud-based Wi-Fi geolocation, enabling positioning in indoor or GPS-denied environments by scanning nearby Wi-Fi networks.

This functionality requires a compatible cloud service such as Sensative Yggio.
