Strips +Switch
Turn a Strips sensor into a sliding button that orders a service, starts a scene or switches a device, from the same strip that senses.
Overview
Strips +Switch is a small slider with magnets inside. It clips onto Strips Comfort or Strips Presence for LoRaWAN, and the strip’s built-in magnet sensor reads its position, so a sensor that was only reporting becomes something a person can act with. Slide it to switch lights, start a scene such as Home or Away, or order a service on demand.
The classic pairing is Strips Presence in a hot-desking office. Presence alone reports occupied or vacant; with +Switch a desk can also be pending: someone has left, and it needs cleaning before it is offered again. The cleaner slides the switch, and the desk is reported available. The sensor with sliding button is a registered Community Design in the EU and the UK.
