Background
Digitalisation and the climate transition both require changes that no single organisation can carry out alone. Municipalities, utilities, property owners and technology suppliers each control a piece of the system, and a solution that pays off for the whole often fails to pay off for the individual party expected to invest in it.
TAFS (Transformativa affärsmodeller för samverkande systemomställning) examined this problem from the business-model side: how value, cost, risk and data can be distributed between collaborating actors so that a system-level transition becomes commercially viable for each participant.
