Background

A municipal climate-neutrality target only becomes real when it is broken down into decisions about buildings, transport, energy and land use, and those decisions need to be measurable, or the target cannot be steered towards.

Smart och klimatneutralt Lund 2030 was Lund’s project within Viable Cities, the strategic innovation programme for climate-neutral cities, run with support from the Swedish Energy Agency.

Sensative’s role

Sensative contributed the measurement and data side: climate work at city scale depends on data from the physical environment, and on that data being available to the many organisations that have to act on it.

The project ran from September 2019 to August 2021 with just under 4.8 MSEK in support.
