Overview
The mounting plate is a thin steel plate, 52 × 43 mm and 0.8 mm thick, with four holes and four slots around a central opening. An adhesive ring around the opening (the yellow ring in the drawing) bonds Puck to the plate. Screw the plate to a wall or a beam, or strap it to a pipe or a post with cable ties through the slots, and Puck looks sideways at a parking bay or down at a level.
The plate is sold separately and is not included with the sensor. A Puck in a drilled hole needs no plate at all. Puck’s battery is replaceable, and replacing it does not disturb the plate.
